Dear Ellen....

Dear Ellen,

1500 chracters limits me and my story for you! I am a Surgical Technology Instructor in Iowa. I get the luxury of helping adult learners better themselves and create a means of supporting their families in the future. We are currently fundraising to send these students (12 of them) to the AST National Conference in Dallas. They want you to go with them! We are in a healthcare crisis and an economic downturn that has increased the number of unemployed Americans drastically. These are those faces!  Many of them are single parents who are working several jobs to pay their tuition. These students are joining a profession that makes a difference. Conference is May 25 so please hurry! Come be a surgical technologist for a day! We have many great ideas for fun games for the show and in turn, you'll be highlighting a profession that could provide opportunity to so many. You do so much good and we feel we fit right in with that. In case you also don't know, surgery people are very unique! It takes a special person to work there. You help so many people that we feel this could be an amazing extention of that! Please visit our links:
